Speaking Engagements

Chris is available for public and private speaking engagements, keynote speeches, and panel discussions.

Dr. Fisher typically discusses topics such as LiDAR and other remote sensing technologies, archaeology as a futurist discipline, Latin American Prehistory, the future of science in the 21st Century, and the difficulties of doing fieldwork in many settings.

Chris is a dynamic teacher and presenter who makes difficult topics accessible while incorporating anecdotes from his over 20 years of fieldwork in some of the most challenging environments in Latin America.

Chris has given lectures internationally in both academic and professional venues about his work. Speaking engagements have included presentations, keynotes, and workshops at the National Palace-Honduras, Sorbonne, National Geographic Explorers Symposium, CyArk-London, NASA-Goddard, UNESCO, USGS LiDAR Science Innovation Workshop, International LiDAR Mapping Forum, and many others.
